Welcome to VJ Photography & Films.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of https://vjphoto.com/ and the photography, videography, cinematography, editing, album, and related services provided by VJ Photography & Films ("VJ Photography & Films", "we", "us", or "our").

By submitting an enquiry, confirming a booking, making a payment, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

VJ Photography & Films provides professional photography and videography services, including but not limited to:

• Wedding photography

• Wedding cinematography

• Event photography and videography

• Pre-wedding photography and films

• Maternity and family photography

• Corporate event coverage

• Fashion and commercial shoots

• Birthday and celebration coverage

• Cinematic films and highlight videos

• Instagram/social media reels

• Photo albums and printing

• Drone photography/videography, where specifically agreed

The exact services, number of photographers/videographers, hours of coverage, deliverables, pricing, and other requirements will be communicated and agreed upon for each booking.

2. Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after:

1. The client has accepted the quotation/proposal; and

2. The required booking advance has been received.

Availability is not guaranteed until the booking is officially confirmed.

The booking advance secures the agreed date and services for the client.

3. Pricing and Payments

All prices will be communicated to the client before confirmation.

The client agrees to pay the amount specified in the quotation/invoice.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• An advance payment is required to confirm the booking.

• The remaining balance is payable on or before the event/shoot date.

• Additional services requested after confirmation may be charged separately.

• Additional hours, locations, travel, accommodation, special equipment, albums, printing, or other requirements may incur additional charges.

Where applicable, taxes/GST will be charged as stated in the quotation or invoice.

4. Payment Processing

Online payments may be processed through PayU or another authorised payment service provider.

Payment processing is subject to the terms and conditions of the respective payment gateway, bank, card network, UPI provider, or financial institution.

A payment is considered received by VJ Photography & Films only after successful confirmation of the transaction.

5. Event Date and Availability

Once a booking is confirmed, the agreed date and time are reserved for the client.

Any change to the event date is subject to our availability.

A date change may be treated as a cancellation and new booking if the requested date is unavailable.

6. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing accurate event details, including:

• Event date

• Venue/location

• Event timings

• Required services

• Contact information

• Any special requirements

The client should notify us of any changes as early as reasonably possible.

The client is also responsible for obtaining any venue permissions required for photography, videography, drone operations, or equipment usage.

7. Deliverables

Deliverables will be based on the quotation or package selected by the client.

Depending on the package, deliverables may include edited photographs, cinematic films, highlight videos, full event documentation, reels, albums, or other agreed services.

Delivery timelines may vary depending on the type and volume of work.

Editing and post-production timelines may be extended during periods of high workload, unforeseen technical issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

8. Creative Style and Editing

Photography and cinematography involve creative decisions regarding composition, lighting, colour grading, editing, music selection, and storytelling.

The final work will follow the professional creative style of VJ Photography & Films and the agreed package.

Minor variations between reference images/videos and the final work do not constitute a failure to provide the service.

9. Client-Provided Content

Where the client provides photographs, videos, music, logos, documents, or other materials, the client confirms that they have the necessary rights or permissions to provide such materials.

The client remains responsible for any copyright or intellectual-property issues relating to materials supplied by them.

10. Copyright and Usage Rights

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the copyright and intellectual property rights in original photographs, videos, edited films, and other creative work produced by VJ Photography & Films remain with VJ Photography & Films to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The client receives the right to use the delivered content for personal use and agreed purposes.

Commercial usage, resale, licensing, or redistribution of the original files may require separate written permission.

11. Portfolio and Promotional Use

VJ Photography & Films may request permission from clients to use selected photographs or videos for portfolio, website, social media, advertising, awards, or promotional purposes.

Where client consent is required, such content will only be used after obtaining appropriate permission.

12. Force Majeure

We will not be considered in breach of our obligations where performance is prevented or substantially affected by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, accidents, government restrictions, public emergencies, venue restrictions, transportation disruptions, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances.

In such circumstances, both parties will make reasonable efforts to find an alternative date or suitable solution.

13. Equipment Failure

We use professional equipment and take reasonable precautions to protect and back up captured content.

In the unlikely event of equipment malfunction, data corruption, accidental loss, or other technical failure despite reasonable precautions, our liability will be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law and the circumstances of the incident.

14. Limitation of Liability

VJ Photography & Films will make reasonable efforts to provide the agreed services professionally.

However, we shall not be responsible for circumstances outside our reasonable control, including delays caused by venues, guests, event organisers, weather, traffic, restrictions, or other third parties.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

15. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation and refund requests are governed by our separate Cancellation & Refund Policy, published on our Website.

Clients are encouraged to review that policy before making a payment.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be published on this page with the revised effective date.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the applicable laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts having jurisdiction over the place of business of VJ Photography & Films, subject to applicable law.
